Abstract

The invention relates to a vehicle seat that can be converted into a child seat, the back (1) of which comprises a cushioned structure (3) in the lower area, the lower part of which is hinged and folds down on the motor vehicle seat (2) until same is horizontal, and comprises two removable cushions (4) in the upper area, on top of the cushioned structure, wherein the cushioned structure and the removable cushions together form a smaller seat that is located on top of the ordinary seat (2) of the vehicle and slightly recessed in the back (1) of the seat; and wherein the seat comprises a hinged cushioned structure (7) in the intermediate front area of the seat (2) that folds frontward, becoming an extension of the seat (2) of the vehicle, thus forming a reclining seat for the child.
