Inventor(s):  José Ignacio Bisbal

Description of the invention

This two-step ladder coupled to a laundry ironing board, is built with a countertop lined with anti-caloric fabric which by means of a shaft and an articulating arm abides 90 ° on a staircase with two steps carries two safety cables to avoid pitching and falling of the countertop, at the end it carries a magnet to hold the ladder and prevent it from falling.

In this countertop it carries a piece in the form of "U" to position the horizontality of the countertop and to be able to iron.

If we lower the countertop we are left in a ladder position, fixing the countertop to the ladder by means of a hook so that when climbing the ladder they can rest with safety.

For the folding of the ladder we use a slot in the top step so that when pulling, turn 90 ° both steps and so are glued to the countertop, to return to the ladder position pull the top rung by the part outside being open.

The legs of the staircase have rubber bands to prevent their sliding.

Object of the invention

There is infinity of models of one, two and three steps in the market of folding stairs, but only with that staircase function, without any other application, the staircase of this utility model is characterized by others by the shape of the upper arch of the staircase since it has an angle of inclination contrary to conventional. The two-step ladder coupled to a laundry ironing board is the coupling of a perforated metal worktop with its anti-caloric fabric, and a ladder built in anodized aluminum or reinforced steel, this combination serves to be used as a staircase or as a countertop of ironing, obtaining that with the same space two functions are realized.
